Then why is it mentioned in this context? Reading news is not 'net abuse',
far from it.

Don't be silly. That's "using news" as much as anything else.

Anyway, I agree wholeheartedly with Branden's paragraph #9 in his platform.
When I discussed it on IRC, most awake people seemed to feel the same way.

I just don't like agreeing to an ambiguous document.
