Continuing the experiment as outlined in [1] and [2], triggered by the discussion starting at [3], I hereby call for participation of Debian Developers in a poll, to attempt to gauge the opinion of "The average DD"[4] as good as it gets on the issue of what to do with the Maintainer field in packages shipped by derivatives of Debian.
