The 'Project' mailing list is intended only for project-related project-wise discussions. For Debian users support, use <[email protected]>. You can also try the IRC channel #debian on irc.debian.org (irc.oftc.net). Below, are pages with useful information about trying to get help using IRC or email: - https://wiki.debian.org/GettingHelpOnIrc - https://wiki.debian.org/DebianIRCChannelGuidelines - https://www.debian.org/support That been said, let me try to give some light to your request for help: I don't know any specifics for this Lenovo N22 Chromebook of yours. However, I have a Dell Latitude from 2007, much before Chromebooks were created, which I use on a daily basis with the latest version of Debian without significant performance issues. It was upgraded to have 4 GB of RAM, what I consider to be the minimal for these days if you intend to have a Desktop Environment (DE) and surf the web with a browser like Firefox. Also, the spinning disc (hard disk) was replaced by an SSD. The DE I use is Xfce, which is a light-weight DE. Good luck with your issue! ;-) Cheers ----------------------------------- ⢀⣴⠾⠻⢶⣦⠀ Felipe Maia ⢿⡄⠘⠷⠚⠋⠀ Debian Contributor ⠈⠳⣄
