Here I was precisely asking about the remaining open 46 bugs [0] that ask to remove the (mostly stale) "python3-distutils" dependencies.
python3-distutils has been removed from Ubuntu since 24.04 [1] and a lot of these 46 packages carry there these single line patch: [2] while some Debian packages are not in Ubuntu at all too. Making these bugs RC now seems like a reasonable idea.
