The Meshtastic <https://meshtastic.org/>Project's Debian packaging relies upon PlatformIO for compilation. Currently we are leveraging the outdated version found on Salsa (master branch). This desperately needs an update, and should ideally be re-added to the Debian repositories.

I intend to submit merge requests to update the Debian packaging accordingly, and would be happy to serve as a maintainer.
