Hi, vmelilo-installer contains a fix to make it work on 2.4 kernels; this would likely allow us to dump the 2.2 support, which I'd be happy to do. Since it isn't used on the initrd's but only added later, it won't need an initrd rebuild and can thus be moved to sarge without risc.
