Moi! In a recent NMU, netcdf3g was split and renamed into libnetcdf3, and libnetcdf++3. While libnetcdf3 should still be binary compatible with the old C library in netcdf3g, the C++ library went through a transition. The old package netcdf3g contained both C and C++ libraries, so libnetcdf3 cannot simply provide netcdf3g. Instead, all packages depending on netcdf3g need to be updated. A binNMU should be sufficient because the netcdf-dev package hasn't changed. The following list of packages is affected. I haven't found any versioned dependency relations that would break due to a binNMU. Can you please put them in the queue?
