It seems that tiff is not transitioning to etch because of its RC bug count, but the RC bug that is reported against it refers only to the sarge version. I attempted to tag it in the BTS as being found in 3.7.2-3sarge1, and this is visible in the BTS, but it did not have the effect I hoped it would of allowing the package to transition to etch. Please hint tiff into etch as 3.8.2-2 also fixes an RC bug (FTBFS). Thanks.
