I uploaded a devmapper update to stable-proposed-updates just prior to the release of r2, but it missed the deadline by a few days.
It's marked on http://wiki.debian.org/DebianReleases/PointReleases/3.1r2 as being delayed (together with an entry for the release notes), but is not mentioned on http://wiki.debian.org/DebianReleases/PointReleases/3.1r3 at all.
