The metadata for #930996 is currently a bit unhelpful, as it only has 8.0.0-5 as a fixed version, which isn't part of the changelog of the package in unstable. I've verified that the fix is included in the unstable package, so please feel free to go ahead with the upload, but it would be helpful to add a fixed version for whichever point in the 9.X packages the fix was first introduced.
