Hello, As already mentioned, parted 1.7.1-3 fixes a RC bug, which makes the parted frontend be totally unusable inside d-i, and possibly also elsewhere.
This means, it is not possible anymore to resort to command line parted to workaround problems in partman, and thus it is urgent that the fixed 1.7.1-3 parted makes it to testing ASAP. The 10 day testing period is over today, and only a hint of the RMs with regard the freeze is needed.
