I have uploaded new tiff packages (3.8.2-7) to unstable with urgency=high to fix release critical bug 404631. The only changes to the packages are the addition of a preinst that safely removes /usr/share/doc/<package> so that dpkg can add the symbolic link. I used urgency high since the changes are very low impact and tiff has lots of reverse dependencies. Please allow this new version of tiff to transition to etch. Thanks.
