I had a somewhat productive afternoon, and I have 2.3.16 (latest stable) compiling well. It might even work ;-)
The build system and autotooling is still a bit of a mess, and debian/patches needs a dire cleanup. Most of that stuff needs to go upstream, and we need to go back in time and triple check the stuff dropped because it was "too dificult" to port from 2.2 to 2.3. I will see if I can further clean up it a bit tomorrow, and do a SVN code drop. But this is stuff that is good for experimental at most, at least according to my standards. I can't do any work on 2.2 right now (and I never did much of it anyway, if any). I need 2.3 for work, so any time I have available to spend on cyrus will go into the 2.3 packages (and not even on the upgrade path, but the packaging itself). Any help with 2.2 and upgrade paths would be appreciated. -- "One disk to rule them all, One disk to find them. One disk to bring them all and in the darkness grind them.
