Hi, As the package maintainer, I would like to request upgrade of apt-cacher in testing to version 1.6.12. It has been in unstable for 10 days and has no new bugs filed against it.
In terms of the upcoming release, it fixes bug #588569 which is necessary to allow debian-installer to fetch kernel files (which are now named linux rather than vmlinux).
