If needed I can include pmetapost and pxdvi in the builds of texlive-binaries, the patches are ready and often used for tlptexlive. Then we could include simply pmetapost and pxdvi in texlive-binaries and replace/conflict with the other packages? WDYT? That would leave jtex binary open only, afais?!
