Does it work if you remove those checks in
dolfin/site-packages/dolfin/compilemodules/compilemodule.py
dolfin/site-packages/dolfin/compilemodules/jit.py
?
If so, we might turn those into warnings.
Johan Hake can comment on whether the checks could be losened.
