Вообще, в относительно свежих пакетах обычно не переменную окружения надо менять, а содержимое файлика debian/compat -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
