We have finished the installation of Debian in a s390 G3 [no VM, no zSeries, no FPU]. In the last message the ipl failed because the devfs was not properly configured in parmfile and fstab, then:
We have put the following line in parmfile/fstab /dev/dasd/0101/part2 and, for information purpose, network interface lcs module was informed in /etc/modules.conf file: alias eth0 lcs Now, the world have a new s390 Debian Machine.
