For m68k packages I use "dupload" to upload to anonymous-ftp-master. For manually built packages I use "dput" which also uploads to anonymous-ftp-master. > Here is what I did following directions from the documentation: > > 1. build on a mips machine using the -B option (I used pbuilder with a sid > chroot) > > 2. sign the *.changes file > > 3. use dput to upload the *.changes and *.deb files to ftp-master > > I am not so sure about step 3 because there is nothing explicit about > where to upload ports in the documentation I found. If your email does not appear in the changelog, I think in the Maintainer field, you will never receive a confirmation. The buildd scripts change that field so that the buildd maintainer receives the installed messages and the buildd can remove the debs as soon as they are installed: Maintainer: Debian/m68k Build Daemon <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Changed-By: Carlo Segre <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I would have switched the field names, but that is just my opinion. Your upload seems to have gone through, which you can check here: http://www.buildd.net/cgi/package_status?unstable_pkg=pgplot5&searchtype=all If you don't have access to an amd64 machine, I could build that as well. Automatic build of pgplot5_5.2.2-8 on batdaf by sbuild/amd64 85 [...] Build needed 00:00:41, 18568k disk space Christian -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
