We at Debian etch receive regularly announcements of updating the chemical presentation (2D) graphics program gchempaint. The version available from Debian is useless for current submissions of papers, while the new one should be OK. I know there is a compilation problem with the version of OpenBabel, though I hope that those who can, will not forget that we are still dwelling with wine/chemsk50, i.e. deeply in the past.
