The main hold-up so far was goffice (now that openbabel is resolved), which is needed by gnome-chemistry-utils, which is again what gchempaint builds upon. the holdup was due to the fact that no stable version of goffice was in unstable for a long time; this is now being resolved with a dedicated goffice0.4 package waiting in the NEW queue. Once this is in unstable, we will quickly update g-c-u and gchempaint as well.
