Hi everyone, I started playing around with the VTK6 package and found that it won't properly build the new (in 6.2.0) Xdmf3 interface. I've already submitted a PR upstream for 6.3.0 [1], and possibly this should be included in the patches list for vtk6. Also, I was wondering why we don't use the parallel I/O capabilities of VTK yet. All it takes is to depend on hdf5-mpi-dev (instead of hdf5-dev) and set the proper MPI compilers (we already depend on them).
