However, I realized I forgot to *require* these updated packages by increasing the versions in debian/control, so now I have done so. Now on a fresh schroot without the updates the package fails to build, with the updates it builds and passes tests for me. I supplied the updated .debs using --extra-package options to sbuild, as well as to autopkgtest. I have pushed a few commits on salsa master.
