I'm having some problems logging my iptables output to a file with syslog.
Its the strangest thing, I have a whole bunch of LOG targets in my setup
of chains, and I can see the iptables log using the dmesg command, and I
have also redirected all messages going thru syslog to a tty with,
*.* |/dev/tty12
I can see the iptables output there. BUT I want to log to a file aswell,
I've tried *.* /var/log/complete.log in /etc/syslog.conf and some
combinations using named pipes and - and stuff while writing to files, but
it will not do it, whatever I try...
Anyone know what I might have done wrong?
