The Mailserver of TU-Berlin (I think more than 10000 Users) and other
central Mailserver here run Exim.

telnet mailszrz.zrz.tu-berlin.de smtp
Trying 130.149.4.11...
Connected to mailszrz.zrz.TU-Berlin.DE.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 mailszrz.zrz.TU-Berlin.DE - ESMTP (EXIM-3.34)

But I have an relatet question:
Why whas Exim choosen to be the standart MTA for Debian?

Thanks Hendrik
