Quoting Mike Tone ([EMAIL PROTECTED]): > by default on \! flavour=debian, tripwire is automagically > setup to mail the root user... > > where does the debian tripwire setup mail too?
You can work with the option
GLOBALEMAIL = "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
in /etc/tripwire/twcfg.txt
OR change the cron-script /etc/cron.daily/tripwire
to mail you the report afer a check.
The third possibility is to use the differentiated
mail funktion per severity level of/in twpol.txt.
Both files (twcfg.txt/twpol.txt) you have to translate
to the encrypted tripwire data files tw.cfg and tw.pol
after editing the according text files.
