On my desktop machines, sure.

On the server farm, assuming no fsck is needed, some of the
hardware still needs six minutes to do disk enumeration and other
BIOS-ish functions.

Debian is the Universal OS, not the
desktop/VM/laptop/of-course-you-have-a-single-SSD OS.
