Debian DOC internationalization

Hello,
I was looking in DebianDOC manualas but did't find an answer.
How about making manuals in other languages than (English, French...iso-8859-1)?
Is everything will be ok with iso-8859-2, or there should be some "tuning and 
hacking"?
