OK, this is a Dumb User Question. But I did review 'Running Linux', and 'Linux in a Nutshell', and I am still stumped. Other than reinstalling the kernel from scratch, and going through the setup again, how can I switch over from bootp to a static routed box. My bootp server was not providing the name service information correctly, and with all my screwing around I now am not getting anything from the bootp server!
