If it helps any, I'm running a 14 cpu E4500 with SCSI drives attach under 2.4.21. I had very few problems getting it up and running with Debian Woody (r1) with a Sun keyboard & VGA multi-sync monitor attached. Once I had everything setup, I switched to serial.
I just need the SOC+ drivers to work now. I think I've added the microcode properly, but it still doesn't work.
