no, as I wrote: kernel-image-sparc-2.4 you asked for the source package, didn't you? There's a big difference between binary and source packages.... put a deb-src line in your sources.list and do a : $ apt-get -d source kernel-image-sparc-2.4 http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/k/kernel-image-sparc-2.4/ - Christian
