unfortunatly it does not find any harddrives. is there a module i could

How about kernel 2.4.x? At least for the installation.
i've now tested the 2.4 netboot image.
it prints "Remapping kernel... done." and then the computers hangs :(
the same happens with teh sarge images (both 2.4 and 2.6...).
isn't there anyone who has installed debian on sparc IIIi??
