Hello! I updated the installation images for sparc64 yesterday [1].
This will update all packages on the installation media to the latest versions - except debian-installer itself which I didn't update. This should address the notorious formatting issue people were seeing when creating ext4 partitions on many setups, not just sparc64 machines, see [2]. The lvm2 bus errors people are reporting remain unresolved [3]. But thanks to the efforts of Anatoly, the issue has already been fixed upstream and it's just a matter of time when the updated package will be available in Debian unstable.
