I know that. However, the gcc-3.0 branch has been created in CVS, so the sooner we detect bugs, the sooner gcc maintainers will be able to fix them. And when gcc 3.0 comes out, Debian will have a lower risk to be delayed by newly discovered bugs. -- Laurent.
