Hi, the GCC 4.9 cross compilers are uninstallable in unstable even if the appropriate foreign architectures are enabled (since they are not kept in sync with the native gcc-4.9 packages) and have RC bugs "the package fails to build from source on buildds and has unmet dependencies" which seem to imply an extra burden for maintenance.
OTOH, gcc-5 and gcc-6 packages seem to have an infrastructure in place which quickly provides updated cross compiler builds (I haven't used them at all, but piuparts seems to be happy with them :-) So should the currently unusable src:cross-gcc-4.9-* be removed from unstable? Cheers, Andreas
