Hallo,
ich versuche, unter potato einen ISDN-Zugang zu
konfigurieren und gehe dabei nach dem "Debian
GNU/Linux Anwenderhandbuch" vor. Die ISDN-Karte
ist eine FRITZ!-Card PCI.
Da ich nicht wu�te, wo man die Provider-
Zugangsdaten eingibt, habe ich es mit pppconfig
versucht (scheint aber wohl nur f�r Modems
gedacht), in der Hoffnung, da� auch ISDN das
verwenden kann.
Danach bin ich strikt nach der ISDN-Anleitung
aus o.g. "Buch" vorgegangen.
(als root)
- modprobe isdn
- modprobe hisax type=27 protocol=2
- lsmod gibt:

- mit isdnconfig die Dateien ipppd.ippp0 und
device.ippp0 erzeugt und editiert
- /etc/init.d/isdnutils stop
- /etc/init.d/isdnutils start
- ein route funktionierte nicht
- ifconfig brachte (s.Anhang)
- ping www.debian.org ging auch nicht
Teile der /var/log/syslog habe ich angeh�ngt.
Dem entnehme ich auch, da� etwas mit PAP bzw.
CHAP nicht stimmt. W�re um etwaige Tipps dankbar.
