Boa Noite!!! Nao funcionou :( Estive pensando minha placa mãe é uma Soyo SY-K7VLM-B, esta placa mãe tem som e video on-board (Chipset embedded S3 Savage 4 AGP), porem o video não pode ser desabilitado nem por jumper e muito menos no Setup da placa mãe, conclusão tenho duas placas de video (uma on-board S3 Savage 4 AGP e uma PCI Nvidia Riva Tnt2), será que as duas placas poderiam estar em conflito??? configurei o setup para iniciar o video pelo slot PCI e nao pelo AGP (Teoricamente minha placa de video on-board trabalha como se fosse uma AGP de 2X). Bem seguindo a dica do muaddib, verifiquei o arquivo em /etc/X11/XF86Config-4, mas a frequencia do meu monitor Sansung SyncMaster 450 b estava correta. O erro continua o mesmo. Preciso de ajuda o quanto antes uma vez que preciso "jogar" Quake 3, Unreal Tornament e Tux Racer :). Mais uma vez Termino Agradencendo a Todos. E esperando uma breve Resposta.
