Como ver�is por el mensaje adjunto el grupo de control de calidad del
proyecto Debian ha solicitado ayuda para realizar ciertas tareas:
- Corregir errores.
- Ayudar en la transici�n de /usr/doc --> /usr/share/doc
- Crear p�ginas de manual.
De las tres tareas �sta �ltima es la m�s f�cil y en la que CUALQUIERA
que
sepa lo que es un editor de textos puede ayudar. Se trata de crear
p�ginas
de manual para muchos programas que no la tienen.
Realmente es muy f�cil.
�Qu� hay que hacer?
- Escoger de la lista que propone Martin Michlmayr el programa
que m�s te guste/que m�s odies/que m�s uses.
- Bajarte los fuentes de unstable.
- Mirar la salida prevista en caso de ejecutar el comando on la
opci�n --help y, si fuera necesario, echar un vistazo al resto
de las fuentes.
- Escribir unos pocos p�rrafos en ingl�s con la descripci�n,
opciones, valores de retorno, variables de entorno, etc�tera.
- Formatear el texto en el formato de man. (En mi caso yo pienso
usar el formato POD de perl, que es mucho m�s sencillo de usar,
y despu�s con el comando pod2man... voil�)
- Enviar el fichero resultante a Bug Tracking System.
Y YA EST�. Ya habr�s contribuido al proyecto Debian.
Si alguien tiene inter�s estoy preparando una plantilla en formato POD
para crear las p�ginas de manual con el comando pod2man y estoy a
disposici�n de qui�n tenga problemas con alg�n paso.
Animo. Recordad que Debian est� realizada enteramente por voluntarios

I added some stuff to the QA web site. Those people who always
said that QA's tasks are not well defined can stop complaining.
There's plenty of work listed on the web site now:
- Help fix bugs in the base. Currently, the base has over 1500
bugs, including 23 RC bugs. Please send in patches through
the BTS. See http://qa.debian.org/base-bugs.html for a full list.
Since base is going to be frozen before the rest of the system,
it is very important that we fix as many bugs as possible and
as as soon as possible.
- FHS transition: More than 300 packages still put data in /usr/doc
and /usr/man. Please send in patches and NMU after 3 weeks.
