I made a bit of progress.... the module is found but not working... any
suggestions for what to put in in the
/etc/pam.d/exim
file?
None of the below lines works:
auth required pam_unix_passwd.so shadow
auth required /lib/security/pam_unix_auth.so
auth required /lib/security/pam_pwdb.so shadow
Below is the entry in exim.conf.
plain:
driver = plaintext
public_name = PLAIN
server_condition = "${if pam{$2:$3}{1}{0}}"
server_set_id = $2
