What config do you need? You can't have OSS and Alsa at the same time, but you can use Alsa's OSS-emulation layer stuff. just load the modules snd-pcm-oss snd-seq-oss and snd-mixer-oss.

alsaconf isn't behaving and the manual edits are having limited success.
