Hi I compiled the kernel with support for modules necessary for IDE CD-writing. I also added 'append "hdc=ide-scsi"' to lilo.conf
Now `cdrecord -scanbus` produces reasonable results. However I can not eject or mount /cdrom. I vaguely remember having the same problem before on some other machine with IDE CDRW, but I do not remember the solution. Any ideas?
