If you are using apt, it may help you to know, that apt stores downloaded .deb files in /var/cache/apt/archives/ (i guess this is not true for apt-cdrom, at least it wouldn't make sense;-). over the time this directory tends to eat pretty much space, so i delete the debs stored there occasionally. > > 3.)
