My preferred solution to this problem is:
- Get the latest Knoppix release. Yes, 3.4 is out ;-)
- Get my "system-info" script at:
twiki.iwethey.org/Main/LinuxSystemInfoScript
- Run same, and save output.
Look at what hardware is/isn't supported, and what configurations are
specified.
Tends to simplify things greatly.
