Hi list,

I'm running kernel 2.6.7 on a Dell Latitude D800 with a Broadcom gigabit
ethernet interface.
I'm using the buildin tg3 module to support the NIC, but I can't seem to suspend
my laptop because of it.
When I try to suspend it displays an error like "tg3: eth0: Invalid powewrstate
(4) requested" and then it says it can't suspend the device and springs back to
live.

I've used the bcm module by broadcom with 2.4 kernels, but it doesn't seem to
support the 2.6 series.

Is there a way to get the suspend function working anyhow (apart from first
unloading the module)

joost
