Hello! since some time now i notice that i can't anymore open images send by mail directly from mutt, not so bothersome since this doesn't happen very often, but still annoying...
the images have the correct mime-type in the mail, corresponding lines are in /etc/mailcap and ~/.mailcap even, but still, mutt claims for unrecognized type, displaying as text.... in /etc/mailcap are a lot of lines for e.g. image/jpeg but that shouldn't trouble the thing, doesn't it? can it be that mutt doesn't find anymore the mailcap files?? funny thing... writing up the problem, also give a clue for the problem... seems that was indeed the problem... adding: set mailcap_path="~/.mailcap:/etc/mailcap" to my muttrc solved the problem... but why are those settings no more a default??? -- ciao bboett ============================================================== [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://inforezo.u-strasbg.fr/~bboett =============================================================== -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
