I would like to use pam to deny logins to all users who are not part of a certain group. My setup is that I am using ldap to manage the accounts across many computers and on many of the computers the normal users are supposed to be able to login, but we want a few to be staff member logins only. I have tried using pam_wheel, but it didn't deny logins to those not in the specific group as I thought it would. I also checked with #debian and someone suggested pam_access but I cannot see how to use it to do what I want. Would anyone have suggestions on how to use pam to deny those not in a specific group?
