This output appeared on my console: Hash Manager Error : 1 Error - could not open affix description file /usr/lib/openoffice/share/dict/ooo/en_US.aff Failure loading aff file /usr/lib/openoffice/share/dict/ooo/en_US.aff The missing file is not in any Debian package: $dpkg -S /usr/lib/openoffice/share/dict/ooo/ dpkg: /usr/lib/openoffice/share/dict/ooo/ not found. On a hunch, I tried linking /usr/lib/ispell/american.aff to the filename that OO expected above. It did not work, though. Can anyone help me?
