You can. As always when security is involved, you should be paranoid by
default. However, paranoia and convenience rarely goes together without
friction.

Check the mutt manual (http://localhost/doc/mutt/html/manual-6.html) :
the pgp_timeout variable should help you here.

Of course, if you're para^H^H^H^H extremely security-conscious, then you
wouldn't be using that option because of bug #96144 ... :-)
