Sarge works like a charm on x336 - although you will have to chose kernel 2.4 duing installation and then do apt-get install kernel-image-2.6-"put your image here" to get kernel 2.6 (this is because the 2.6 kernel on the netinst cd does not support the cdrom device in th 336 only the 2.4 kernel will allow you to boot).
