Well, pwm doesn't seem to be an option to me, but pwm2 and pwm3 both sound
interesting.

Hummm, I've used fvwm in the past (about a decade ago -- it was one of my
first window managers) and I think that its modus-operandi is not for me,
despite having a highly tweaked .fvwmrc file.

P.S.: As you can see, I am willing to experiment with many window managers
(but not with Desktop Environments right now).
